Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam belongs to Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church which is believed to have been founded by Saint Thomas, one of the 12 disciples (Apostle of Christ, 52 AD) of Jesus Christ. The Malankara Church has its head quarters at SCS Campus, Thiruvalla, Kerala, India.
The church aims to be the repository of the divine doctrines revealed by the Lord and proclaimed by His Apostles, and to maintain these doctrines in all their purity. The church believes in promoting the spiritual life of its members through the administration of sacraments and by the ministry of the WORD.
The church wishes to make the disciples in all nations of the world by the proclamation of the Gospel and through the administration of the Holy Baptism in the name of the Triune God.
